So, my new laptop is a Windows 8, but it's so hard to find a good, and free, art program to use that will safely download on my laptop. I have FireAlpaca, but I'm not too fond of it, and I absolutely hate GIMP with a passion.
Are there any really nice programs that I could download for free that will work on Windows 8, and won't cause bugs or trojans? I really liked Paint Tool SAI, but I can't find it anywhere for W8 for free.
Please help! D: I can deal with FireAlpaca for only a small amount of time.

Lost in dA *important message*
So, guys. I think I've kind of just lost interest in dA, especially since most of my art nowadays are just pencil sketches, and my tablet is dead. I still love art, but I've just gotten bored here on dA, and I really don't think I'll be on much anymore. I'll hop on once in a blue moon to look at messages and art, but other than that, I'm off.
I don't believe I'll be uploading anymore. I tried to re-immerse myself into the HARPG, but I don't think I have the energy, or the time with college and so on.

New stable???
So I think I've decided to try and re-enter the HARPG world, but with a completely new stable. New staff, new barn, new horses [except for a couple old horses that I love, mainly my Obertaurers]. I'm not sure if I'll do it on this account or a new account, we'll see. I'll keep you updated! But sadly, it'll all be traditional work, for now, since I don't have a working tablet.
Sad News, awww. Lost in Touch. And FSU question?
Welp. No more digital art for me, for the time being. The last time I tried plugging my tablet in, it wouldn't work. It turns on and whatnot, but the thing is, it's one of the pen & touch tablets and all it will let me use is touch. Won't turn off to let me use the pen. And I have zero idea where my installment discs are, so I can't even try uninstalling and reinstalling it. I don't even have an art program either. :( Christina is sad.
Also, I miss you guys! I miss my DeviantArt friends! How are you guys? Do you remember me? Tell me how things are going for you all!
Last thing. A question. Does anyone go to Florida State University? Or
